Suturing for Midwives Retreat
at Green Landing Lodge

Click here for upcoming workshop dates & registration.
Overview:

This in-person midwifery retreat combines focused learning with a stellar setting on the rocky coast of Maine.  11 CE

The retreat has 3 sessions that build on each other and provide time for practice, connecting with other participants, and enjoying time for rest and reflection. Session content is designed to expand each participant’s suturing skills, explore new ways (and whys!) of performing repairs, and discuss the clinical challenges of repairs encountered in practice. The schedule allows participants to build their technical skills.

To ensure everyone gets individualized mentoring, workshops are limited to 6 participants. The core workshop runs from 9am-5pm Friday & Saturday.

Housing is provided with On Site tickets and begins Thursday after 4 pm and ends Sunday at 10 am (3-nights). All rooms are private with shared bath and are reserved exclusively for Retreat Participants. Additional space may be available - if buying a commuter ticket & are interested in a spot, please email to check availability.

ACNM specialty credit Program # 2021-154 provided through 1-18-2024

We are committed to increasing the representation of midwives, both as a profession through membership in our professional associations, and by creating a profession as diverse as the people we serve.

Discounts are available on full price tickets for ACNM and NACPM members (10%) or for Midwives of Color (15%). One discount per purchase.

There is one Reparations Ticket per session for a Black or Indigenous midwife whose ancestors were affected by historic enslavement or genocide. Ticket cost is $102.50 (10% of full ticket price) and includes all materials and housing for the participant. If you plan to make alternate housing arrangements please let us know by email so we can offer the room to another participant.

There is one Pay-What-You-Can-Ticket per session so that all midwives who want to attend can afford this program.
